The Oreo issue

I let Nathan go to a neighbor boy's water party for a few hours yesterday. After about two and a half hours, I made him come home because I was worried he might be getting too hot.

When he got home I asked him what they had been doing when he left.

"We were about to have some Oreos."

"I'm sorry. I would have let you have the Oreos before you came home, sweetie."

"It's okay, Mom."

Twenty minutes later:

Nathan: "Mom, what's an Oreo?"

LOL! He sounds like a sweet kid. Christopher would be like "You are soo mean! You made me miss oreos!" (they had oreos like once a week for snack in kindergarten)
