Nathan came home from school and said the principal came in and talked about fire.
He explained they went outside for a fire drill.
"I was really scared there was a real fire and that it would burn my backpack. But Mrs. Seely said there wasn't a real fire. My stomach hurt a little bit, but then it got better when I went on the school bus."
It was too cute, but I could tell he had been really scared, because he emphasized that point a number of times. Your first fire drill. What an experience.

He always says his stomach hurts when he is scared. That's cute.
Oh, how cute! And sad at the same time. And Becky your twins are adorable! It's crazy to me that you have 4 kids!! haha.
Love the pictures you posted. We want to see more!!
Our school went through the fire drill, earthquake and code red drills, too. It surprises me how hard it is to prepare the little ones for emergencies because they all get VERY concerned and easily scared. I think it has a lot to do with their development at that age - understanding the difference between what is real and what isn't. (for example, many of them really think that my puppets are REAL animals. So cute, haha)
