Nathan

Here are some of the things Nathan said today.

This morning I got up and Nathan had been up and had apparently visited Eli.
"Mom, I was holding onto the bars of his crib so hard, I got a bump in my arm."
"Oh,"  I said, "don't hold on so hard."
"No,"  Nathan said, and tried to explain.
Finally, it dawned on me.  "Oh, did a muscle pop out?"
"Yes,"  Nathan said, clearly relieved I understood.
He was introduced to power rangers over the break when he was with his cousin.  I don't know if this played into this or not.

Nathan:  Dad, when can I get a cell phone?
Matthew:  When you're 18.  (Matthew did not even hesitate to answer.)
I can't believe he is getting old enough to ask about cell phones.  He's only 7.

"Mom, when is it appropriate to burp after those delicious sloppy joes?"

I made sloppy joes for dinner.  It's been a number of years because I have to make them homemade to have things I can usually eat and I forget.  Today I remembered and Nathan loved them.

Apparently, Sloppy Joes are now his number 2 favorite.  It kicked Mac 'N Cheese to the number 3 spot and Raviolis is still number 1.
