What do you get when you try to make a big batch of apple pie filling when there's four kids and not a lot of dishes?
You get:
Apples being sliced into a roast pan.
A 6 year old and a 4 year old "washing" the sink out.
Babies finding stray apples on the floor.
A little more lemon juice squeezed into the pan than necessary.
Lots of noise.
Discussions on appropriate age for knife use.
All in all, I am not sure it was an amazing activity, but we all tried to work together.
Hopefully it turns out yummy. We will have to be the testers :)
